«PR for Non – Governmental Organizations» Manual Presentation

On May 4th, in Ani Plaza «PR for the Non – Governmental Organizations» manual presentation was held.
The manual was published by the «Team» Research Centre» Non – Governmental Organization with the assistance of Armenian PR Association and OSIAF- Armenia financial support.
In his speech, the President of «Team» Research Centre» NGO Mr. Avet Demouryan emphasized the importance of PR institutional development in today's Armenia and marked that the book publication is another attempt to assist local NGOs in building their institutional PR capacity.
The manual is targeted at NGO PR officers, students, PR professionals and large public as such.

According to Mrs. Anush Begloian, executive director of Armenian PR association the book can be viewed as a practical guidance that provides the basic PR knowledge to NGOs to apply in their everyday PR activities in order to improve communications with the public, other NGOs and donor organizations.
OSIAF deputy project manager David Amiryan recognized the Team research group and APRA for the remarkable endeavor, and stated that the actual contribution brought by both organizations in terms of establishment and sustainability of PR field in Armenia is much wider and that the manual is just the part of the work that was done.
